Anant Kumar

Co-founder and CEO

Anant Kumar is the Director of VBAPL. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology from the National Institute of Technology, Warangal. He was a Project Assistant at the National Chemical Laboratory in Pune after his undergraduate studies. Subsequently, he was awarded prestigious scholarships—the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship from the European Union and the Charpak Scholarship from the French Government. He earned his Master of Science degree from University College Dublin, Ireland, where his thesis focused on the critical assessment of various feedstocks for anaerobic digestion. Kumar brings five years of valuable experience to the biogas sector. He played a key role in the engineering, design, and operation of the Green Generation Biogas Plant in Kildare, Ireland. He has also provided valuable consultancy services to numerous biogas plants across India.

Anupam Kumar

Co-founder and CTO

Anupam Kumar is a Co-Founder and Technical Director at VBAPL. He holds an MSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alberta, Canada, and has over a decade of experience with Engineering, Procurement, and Optimization activities for oil and gas refineries, including conventional, Hydrogen Plant, and renewable crude oil. Anupam has executed projects for Fluor and Worley in the US/Canada with a total installed cost of over $100 million for major Oil and Gas operators such as BP, Parkland Refinery, Suncor, and CNRL. He will be leveraging his engineering experience to lead engineering, procurement, and commissioning activities at VBAPL. Anupam was born and raised in Bihar and migrated to Canada for higher education. He has pledged to bring US/Canada technology and investment into Bihar under the Invest Bihar scheme.

Amit Kumar Singh

Co-founder and CFO

Amit is a seasoned entrepreneur with over two decades of experience across diverse sectors, including banking, supply chain, retail, logistics, and business development. He embarked on his entrepreneurial journey by establishing multiple fuel retail stations for BPCL, demonstrating his early success in the energy sector. Building upon this foundation, Amit successfully founded Vardhan. Amit has established himself as a key partner of Jio-BP. He has further expanded his reach by becoming a fuel supply partner for Altius Infra and Jio Telecom at the pan-India level. As a director of VBAPL, Amit provides invaluable guidance in the planning and construction phases of the plant. Furthermore, he has played an instrumental role in securing the necessary funding for the project, demonstrating his strong leadership and financial acumen.

Medha Tejaswini

Co-founder and CMO

Medha is a director at VBAPL. She holds a B.Des degree in Design from NIFT, Chennai. She has experience working with government undertaking organizations and developing clusters in the interior tribal areas of Jharkhand. She also has experience working with Tollywood with esteemed celebrities. She was awarded by the Chhattisgarh government for excellence in developing their Champa cluster and producing high-selling products. She is also the Co-founder of a home furnishing brand, Baleesh Pvt. Ltd.
